His response was a no-brainer.
People.com says when the question surfaced, Luke Bryan quickly replied with “Hell yes, I’ll do it!”
Luke’s been tapped to sing our National Anthem at Super Bowl LI in Houston on February 5th.
“Is the anthem challenging? Yes. Is it nerve-wracking? Yes. But I moved to Nashville to follow my dreams and singing the national anthem on that stage doesn’t get any bigger . . . I feel like this is my way of honoring my country. It’s a little chance to serve.” – Luke Bryan
So who’s he rooting for? Similar to his “no-brainer” response, the Georgia native is going with his home team, the Atlanta Falcons. Luke went on to say his focus will be on the anthem but as soon as he walks off the field, he’ll shake off the pressure of performing and enjoy some football.
Luke kicks off Super Bowl LI before the Falcons and the Patriots are in the spotlight; Lady Gaga is your halftime performer and you can see it all Sunday February 5th on FOX.
