“All We Have Is Right Here, Right Now”

We’re all staying home and social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Mitchell Tenpenny (“Drunk Me”) has decided to release a new, timely song called “Here.” 

The song puts what we all know into words: 

“Tick tock, that clock on the wall
Only goes around so many times
That bump bump thump in your chest
Yeah, it’s only gonna work for a little while”

The lyrics are powerful. They make you sit back and wonder if you’ve been living your life to the fullest. 

After the world gets back to ‘normal,’ I foresee more people living their lives to the fullest. I see people doing things they haven’t before. Personally I see more adventurous activities in my future. Rock climbing, skydiving.. you get the picture. We’re all going crazy sitting at home not being able to do the things we want to, and that includes me!
