Bacon Fries

Attention all french fry and bacon lovers!

It’s always nice to combine two of your FAVORITE things – especially when bacon’s involved, right? I stumbled upon a recipe recently and literally thought to myself: “The world must know about these”. So, without further adieu I give you, Bacon Fries:

What You’ll Need:

Baking Sheet (cookie sheet)
Parchment Paper
2 Sweet Potatoes – medium sized (if possible)
8 oz of thinly cut bacon

How to Cook It:

Preheat oven to 425F

Cover the cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper.

Slice the bacon (raw) in half lengthwise and then again width wise. You should have 4 smaller strips cut from one piece of bacon.

Cut the  sweet potatoes into matchsticks, or into whatever french fry size that you prefer.

Take one strip of bacon and wrap it around the fry (repeat this until every fry is wrapped in bacon or until you run out of bacon)

Put the baking sheet of fries in the oven and bake them for 15 minutes

Turn the oven to broil and let the tops get crispy for about 2 minutes (watch’em because these babies could burn if you don’t)
