Best Of 2021: Clear Crew Picks – Todd Alan

The Clear Crew shares they’re favorite Country songs of the year!

My favorite track of 2021 was “Famous Friends” by Chris Young and Kane Brown.

This might seem like a cop out answer, since it was the #1 played song on country radio this year, but I think that makes the argument for this song even stronger. As many times as I heard it, I am still not sick of it. I jam every time it comes on and I sing along.

Every town has those people who are famous inside the bubble of that town. Outside the borders, they are “normal people”, but inside they are sometimes treated as “heroes”. And I think the smaller the town the more this holds true. I grew up in a town of 700, so I certainly have some “famous friends” that nobody has ever heard of.
