Charlie Brown Holiday Specials Won’t Air On TV Anymore

It’s An Apple Christmas, Charlie Brown.

A deal between Apple TV+ (Apple’s paid streaming service), and WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions will make the service the home for the Peanuts specials.

The gang’s Halloween special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, C

harlie Brown,” will be available on the streaming service, for free to non-subscribers, October 30th through November 1st.

The other family-tradition holiday specials will arrive around their appropriate holidays, free for non-subscribers:

  • A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: Arrives November 18th, free from November 25th to November 27th.
  • A Charlie Brown Christmas: Arrives December 4th, free to non-subscribers from December 11th to December 13th.

Apple TV+ will also be expanding the franchise, with new specials, including New Year’s Eve, Earth Day, Mother’s Day and back-to-school specials.

If you haven’t heard as well, there’s an original series on the platform called Snoopy in Space, which has also been ordered for a second season.
