Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne just released a new collaboration called “Burning Man.”
Dierks said, “I felt an immediate connection to the lyrics. The idea that we all are a little bit of everything… a little bit holy water and a little bit burning man… really resonated with me.. and I knew they would connect to the song like I did.”
And if Dierks hadn’t found the song, he knew it was one that Brothers Osborne would have picked up.
Dierks’ new album, The Mountain, is out June 8th.
“For the First Time” became another No. 1 hit for Darius Rucker this week. “The opening line is so me. You know, that ‘you say you never danced to a dashboard singin’ REM’ – that was so who I am and me, and so I started laughing and then I started thinking about all of the stuff that I haven’t done that I wanted to do. Not so much bucket list stuff, just stuff that ‘why have I never done that?’ That’s why I wanted that song to be a single. I wanted people to sit back for a second and go, ‘When was the last time I did something?’”
Darius is co-headlining the Summer Plays On tour with Lady Antebellum, making a stop in STL Sept. 13th.
