Kelsea Ballerini isn’t letting success get to her.
Kelsea climbed to the top of the charts with three consecutive singles from her debut album making her the only female artist in country music history to do this.
She’s opened up tours for Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and Thomas Rhett.
She’s headlined her own tour.
She is up for Female Vocalist of the year at the CMA Awards happening next month.
AND she’s got a new album due out this year, but Kelsea isn’t getting caught up in her success:
“I feel like things are different now than they were three years ago but I feel like I have a lot to prove. I feel like being in the Female Vocalist category means that I need to put out a very good record to deserve that. That’s how I feel, so hopefully they like this record like they liked the last one.”
Her new album, Unapologetically, will be out November 3rd.
Lady Antebellum needs your help!
The trio is partnering with National Geographic to raise money for the Nashville nonprofit Musicians on Call, but want to give you a chance to show off your personal heroes. They are making a music video for their song “Army” and want you to submit photos and videos on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #MyArmyContest and it could be featured in the video!
