Keith Urban’s new song was NOT written in light of the recent “#MeToo” movement.
“I couldn’t be less inspired by Harvey Weinstein,” said one of the writers. “It was purely for us wanting to say something.”
The three writers were actually thinking about family when coming up with the lyrics. “Our daughters are friends. They play together and trick-or-treat together. We would get teary-eyed when we would think of lines and think about our daughters.”
Blake Shelton is once again at the top of the charts with his new album Texoma Shore.
He said, “I can’t believe that 17 years into making records and my fans are still so supportive. I mean a No. 1 album? When I think it can’t get any better, it does – thanks to them. I love you all!”
He also says his career is something he could not have ever dreamed up.
“I have a hard time wrapping my head around it and I have a hard time talking about it intelligently because it’s ridiculous. It’s not something that I ever could’ve foreseen. I mean, obviously it’s what you dream of, but some parts of my career are now beyond what I even knew to dream about.”
Blake will be in STL February 24th on his 2018 Country Music Freaks tour. Click here for details and tickets!
