This should be a fun project for Dierks Bentley and his alter ego from Hot Country Knights.
Hot Country Knights with their debut release, featuring Travis Tritt, called “Pick Her Up.”
It’s a song about picking up a country girl… in a pickup truck. 🙂 Definitely has that 90’s sound with the fiddle and the pounding drums. I appreciate Dierks’ creativity when it comes to keeping things fresh. Well, maybe not so much in this case, but he sure likes changing things up on occasion – most memorably when he released a bluegrass album a few years back called Up On The Ridge.
It would not shock me in the least if Pick Her Up or another song of a future album from Hot Country Knights becomes a hit. People like having fun, Dierks Bentley likes having fun, and this project will be fun.
