Kennedy Rae

Saturday 12a – 6a; Sunday 3p – 6p

My name is Kennedy Rae Anderson, and I am incredibly happy to be apart of the Clear 99 family!

Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in marketing at the University of Missouri. I also work as a part time waitress at the restaurant Beks in Fulton, so you might catch me there if your craving some delicious artichoke dip!

I have spent all of my 21 years in mid-Missouri, and I love life as a Midwestern. I have spent the last 4 years as an Army girlfriend/wife, and am excited to end that chapter and have my husband home for good this summer.

Growing up, sports were a big part of my life, particularly basketball and dance. I love to attend St. Louis Cardinals baseball games and college basketball games with my Grandfather.

My interest in music began at a young when I began dance classes at the age of 3. My parents raised me on Classic Rock, and when I was 11 or 12, my older brother introduced me to 90’s and 2000’s rock such as Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Alice in Chains. Later throughout high school, I fell in love with Country music (new and old). My favorite country artists are Chris Young, Chris Stapelton, Brad Paisley, Tim Mcgraw, Eric Church, and many more hahaha.

My favorite compliment is “you’re always smiling” because a smile can change a mood, a life, the world. I try to live my life with kindness, positivity, and a whole lotta fun (and these quotes).

“It matters not who you love, where you love, why you love, when you love or how you love, it
matter only that you love”. – John Lennon

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”. – Winnie the Pooh

“And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be”. – The Beatles

“Kindness is not weakness.” -Unknown
