The Future Of Lucky’s Market May Be In Doubt

Lucky’s Market will remain open for now, but it’s future remains unclear.

There is a lot of speculation as to whether or not Lucky’s Market in Columbia will remain open, with ProgressiveGrocer.com reporting that 32 of its 39 stores were closing.

The Riverfront Times out of St. Louis reported the Columbia store would stay open but the Rock Hill location in the suburbs of St. Louis and the Springfield, Missouri, store would close.

I’ve only been there on a few occasions, but the staff always seems helpful and engaged. Plus, if you need a more “unique” natural food item, then it was a good place to go.

Never want to hear a story about local people losing jobs, so let’s hope Lucky’s is around for a long time.
