Who says almonds are, “The best snack of all”……..


Who likes to snack while watching a good show on TV?  EVERYONE!  If you’re looking for something healthy to munch on, almonds are great!

Dr. Oz says,  almonds are “the best snack of all because nuts are high in fiber and protein, they’ll satiety you so you’ll never be hungry. Because of my Turkish culture, I grew up eating almonds that have been soaked in water first. I still do that. It makes them taste completely different—very sweet.”

MensHealth.com says, Study author Michelle Wien partially credits the satiety factor. “Almonds are a nutrient-dense food that provides healthful monounsaturated fat, protein, and fiber, which together contribute to feeling full,” she says. Go for whole almonds in their unsalted, raw, or dry-roasted state. Fifteen to 20 will do the trick for a quick snack.
