Spice Rubbed Air Fryer Pork Chops

We are celebrating National Pork Month with the Missouri Pork Association all October long. It was my turn to cook.

I love my air fryer. I use it for almost everything, but I have never cooked pork in it. Lucky for me I have 3 different Air Fryer Cookbooks. After flipping through them I went back and forth between stuffed pork chops, marinated pork chops, more a pork stir fry.  But I settled on a spice rubbed pork chop and I am so happy that I tried it. It is so good. If you watch the video, I think the Clear Crew liked it as well.

Here is what you will need…

2 center-cut, bone-in pork chops

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon paprika

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 ½ black pepper

1 teaspoon ground mustard

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

1-2 tablespoons olive oil

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.

Mix all of the spices together in a bowl.

Wipe down pork chops, drying them as much as you can. Coat liberally with olive oil. Sprinkle on the rub on both sides (there should be enough rub for both chops)

Place chops in the air fryer and cook 12-15 minutes (depending on the size of the of the chops)
