The acronym F.A.S.T. can help you know the signs of a stroke.
(We’re teaming up with MU Health Care for Stroke Awareness Month, and Scotty is sharing what he learns in blogs throughout the month.)
When a stroke happens, it keeps oxygen from getting to the brain. Getting to help in a hurry is VERY important. So knowing the signs is key.
F.A.S.T. can help you recognize the signs of stroke.
“F” is for face. Face drooping: Can the person smile, or is one side of the face drooping or numb?
If so, get to a doctor or hospital immediately!
