It’s Super Bowl week. Now, we know that Super Bowl parties might look a little different this year. But, one thing will remain the same… THERE WILL BE FOOD!!!
So the Clear Crew wanted to get together and give you some ideas. Todd combined two of the worlds greatest foods for everyone to try… How about some Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese?
Here’s how it’s done…
Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
4 tablespoons of butter (divided)
2 tablespoons of flour
2 1/2 cups of half and half
2 pounds of cheese (your choice I used Sharp Cheddar & Pepper Jack)
1/4 cup Buffalo Sauce
Diced or Shredded Chicken (as much or as little as you would like)
1 cup of Panko bread crumbs
1 box of pasta
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350.
- Add pasta to boiling water. Cook to box directions.
- In the meantime, in a saucepan melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Slowly mix in flour to create a roux. Cook out the flour for a little while.
- Slowly add in your half and half into the saucepan. Whisk until it starts to thicken. Add in buffalo sauce and stir.
- Start to add in your cheese. Mix until cheese is melted.
- Drain your pasta and place back into large pot. Add cheese mixture. Add chicken. Mix until incorporated.
- Melt remaining butter and add to Panko.
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Pour Pasta & Cheese mixture into prepared dish. Spread Panko mixture over the top.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until bubbly.
Enjoy!!!
