Things To Do In Mid-Missouri During Winter Months

Being a new parent, I’m now starting to understand the struggle of keeping your kids preoccupied during the winter months. Thankfully, Clear Country helped out with some great ideas!

We decided to come up with a list of fun stuff to do to get you through the winter blues with the kiddos. Thanks to your help on the Clear 99 Facebook page, I think we have a pretty solid list so far.

Museum of Art and Archaeology

This museum is the largest art museum in mid-Missouri. 

Stephens Museum

The third oldest museum in Missouri, the Stephens Museum houses historical artifacts and papers, natural history objects and animal specimens and a mammal collection. 

University of Missouri-Museum of Anthropology

Visitors of all ages enjoy the interesting tours and variety of anthropological exhibits at this museum. 

Walters-Boone County Historical Museum

This museum contains history and art exhibits and offers educational tours of the building and displays. 

Martin Luther King Memorial Garden
800 South Stadium Boulevard, Columbia, MO 65201
A public work of art with Dr. King’s writings, landscaped gardens, gathering place next to MKT Trail.
