This Episode Of ‘Full House’ Involved…*Gasp* An Admissions Scam

This is … interesting.

‘Full House’ actress Lori Loughlin is one of many accused of being part in a real life admissions scam. Allegedly, paying half a million dollars to get her daughter accepted into college. According to court documents, Loughlin and her husband claimed their daughters were star recruits for the USC rowing team.

Full House fans have found a 1993 episode of the show called “Be True To Your Preschool” that seems very reminiscent of today’s headlines.

In this particular episode, Loughlin’s Aunt Becky stops Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) from lying to get their toddler twins into an ‘elite preschool’.
Stamos’ character claims the twins speak multiple languages and play musical instruments.

Another episode of the show includes Uncle Jesse stealing the SAT answer book to feed answers to DJ Tanner. Faked SAT and ACT scores were also part of the alleged scam.

I just don’t understand why you’d try to pay more to get someone INTO college, than what it would most likely cost to attend, in totality.
