She’s an Alabama girl that has been inspired by artists “…from Aaliyah to Loretta Lynn.”
Tiera Kennedy grew up learning to play the guitar through YouTube videos, and singing wherever people would let her, including Chick-Fil-A and Buffalo Wild Wings. In high school she met a group of bluegrass musicians that helped further her love of Country music.
Shania Twain took Tiera under her wing on a reality show, and a few years later, Tiera got to honor her mentor by singing one of her songs at the ACM Honors ceremony at the Ryman Auditorium.
She has also been the opening act for Shania, Kelsea Ballerini, and even Nelly.
Last year she released her debut album “Rooted”.
