Celebrating National Pork Month with Liz’s Ribs

Its a delicious tradition that we’ve done for years! We partner with the Missouri Pork Association and the local pork producers to try out different cuts of pork.

This weekend Liz, or rather her husband Will, cooked ribs.

The recipe:

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F

First layer regular mustard on all side of the ribs for a binder.

Then put a sweet and spicy rub all over and press it into the meat.

Put the ribs in a pan bone side down with a lid (or wrap in foil) let the ribs cook for 2 hours.

Put out a long enough piece of foil out (long enough to wrap those ribs) line the foil with honey, then line with brown sugar and 4 tablespoons of butter.

Put your ribs bone up on the foil you just prepared. Then put more honey and brown sugar on the top side of those ribs.

Wrap your ribs in the foil and put back in the oven at 275 for 2 hours.

Heat up your favorite BBQ sauce on the stove and slather those ribs up when they are done cooking!!

As always, if you try the recipe, let us know what you think!
