Strawberry Pretzel…Salad/Dessert

I stopped by a roadside tent the other day and bought some strawberries. I didn’t really have anything in mind for them, they just looked good. So I came home and starting looking up ways I could use them. This one popped up, and I’ve always enjoyed eating it so I gave it a shot!

I made a couple of mistakes with it and it didn’t LOOK as good as it should, but it tasted great.

My mistakes: I used a pint of strawberries but it needed more to have it covering the whole dish, it just looked a little sparse. Bigger strawberries would have helped the look as well. I also over crushed the pretzels so it didn’t hold together as well on service. Break ’em up, just not too much.

I used The Pioneer Woman’s recipe. I’ll try this one again and maybe health it up a little with Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and low fat cream cheese and see how it turns out.
