Woman Crush Wednesday – Allie Irene

She’s performing at the Cattlemen Days Rodeo on Friday, August 28th!

We have been following Allie for a year or so now and we’ve always been impressed with her songwriting.

Last year, we were not familiar with Allie or her music, but saw that she was opening up for David Nail at The Blue Note. So we thought she might be a good candidate for WCW. We listened to her music and really liked it. Then we started looking at her website and saw she was from mid-Missouri! We had no idea!

So we mentioned how we found her on the radio, and before long an acquaintance called to tell us a little bit more, like she went to Fatima High School, and was from the Westphalia area.

Then somebody texted her, and she called us to visit which was great. And we talked about the story some more, and this happened…!
