Tanner Adell describes herself as half black and half white, and she grew up in an adopted family. Several years ago her parents gave her an Ancestry DNA Kit for Christmas. Through a series of events she learned that she had a brother she didn’t know about, and that her Mom had passed away a few years before. It’s an interesting story.
She wrote her deeply-personal new song “Going Blonde” about the experience.
