She’s released her first album of fully co-written songs.
When she was getting started in the music business 30 some-odd years ago, someone told her she wasn’t a songwriter. She says some of her biggest influences (Linda Ronstadt & Patsy Cline to name a couple) were not known as songwriters, so she just focused on other parts of her career.
But with the prodding of some of her songwriter friends, she decided it was time to do it. No only did she co-write all of the songs on “The Mirror“, but she also co-produced it.
