Some gummy vitamins are being recalled because they could contain bits of metal.
The FDA posted a notice on its website Tuesday announcing a voluntary recall of select Vitafusion gummy products. The recall follows an investigation of two consumer reports that identified possible “metallic mesh” in the products. The company said there’ve been no reports of illness or injury.
A list of the Vitafusion products, made between Oct. 29 to Nov. 3, being recalled can be found on the FDA website. To get a full refund, hold on to the bottle and call he company’s Consumer Affairs team at 1-800-981-4710.
