Thanks To Disney, You Are One Step Closer To Being An Actual Mermaid

Starting this month, select Walt Disney World resort hotels will be offering a chance for you to swim like Princess Ariel.

The first-ever “Mermaid Schools” will be opening at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, in Florida.

However, there was a time, (in 1959 and then again from 1965-67), when Disney briefly employed young women as “mermaids”, for one of their attraction’s at the time.

Those who sign up for the new “Mermaid Schools” can take hour-long classes to learn to swim like the ‘The Little Mermaid’.

Complete with a “fitted swimmable tail”!

The classes will be offered through December 2019 and cost $50 plus tax per participant.
