Morgan Wallen Arrested Over The Weekend

Looks like Morgan Wallen had a little too much fun after our Clear Country Concert last weekend.

Morgan Wallen was arrested on Saturday night (May 23) and then charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after an incident at Kid Rock’s honkytonk bar in Nashville.

Nashville’s WKRN News 2 reports, police arrested Morgan sometime around 11PM on Saturday night after observing security guards kicking him out of the club.

According to the police report, Morgan Wallen refused to walk away with his friends after officers gave him several chances. Officers said “Wallen bore a strong odor of alcohol and that he posed a danger to himself and the public.” They arrested him for “being intoxicated in public, unable to take care of himself, and the reasonable likelihood the offense would continue,” according to WKRN.

Morgan responded on Twitter about the event the next day.

Hey y’all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn’t mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.
